Leadership Development Institute

On August 11-13, 2008 the Texas HOSA State and Area officers from across this state came together to plan the upcoming HOSA year in great detail.  At the 2008 Leadership Development Institute in Kerrville, Texas, we kicked off the conference with an awesome team building game to help relieve any jitters and anxiety that anyone might have had.  After getting them ready to work, each officer group planned their POW (Program of Work) and performed humorous skits to their fellow officers and board members.  To further get the LDI experience, we were all involved in a ropes challenge course, where we learned how to work together, build our leadership skills, and work on our team support system.  We all worked together for a common goal while having fun.  The 30+ Texas officers took full advantage of all that was offered while making new memories and long lasting friends.
