Historian

 

     Hello Area 6! My name is Matt Phillips and I’m your 2007-2008 Area 6 Historian. I plan on using my creativity to make a TOTALLY AWESOME slideshow for your viewing entertainment this year. I would like for all schools attending the Spring Leadership Conference to be recognized in the slideshow, so get those exciting pictures in as soon as you can. You can bring them to Fall Leadership on a CD in .jpeg format or they may be emailed to asmart@hjisd.net throughout the year as events occur. Just make sure they are labelled identifying your school/HOSA group. I hope you all enjoy! 

      I’m highly involved in many organizations around our school. I’m the editor of the yearbook, the Spanish Club Historian, a part of the OAP All-Star Cast, a competitor in UIL Poetry Interpretation, a debate team member, NHS, and Historian of our local HOSA chapter. I’m really passionate about the things I do and the responsibilities I take, which drives me to achieving every goal set in my path. I hope you all can see all of my good qualities this year through the assistance provided by your Area Officers. See you all at Fall Leadership!
